This is an image in created in 2008 on South 1st Street in Austin, TX.
Jovita's was a Mexican Restaurant on South First, close to Mary Street. I loved the architecture, the colors, and the addictive tacos. This is one of the first images I decided to warp. It felt like it was calling for it.
Turns out Jovita's was funded by drug money and ended up closing. after the FBI and APD successfully completed "Operation Muerte Blanca" and arrested the owner (and 14 associates) who was a convicted murderer and kingpin of the heroin business in South Austin... They probably were looking at me funny when I took these pictures...
